In the first place, I was dissapointed because the writeup led me to believe I was getting a second opera by Andre Previn. His first, "A Streetcar Named Desire" is one of my favorites. I was hoping "The Kindness of Strangers" was a second opera.
Secondly I dislike documentary format becasue it mixes the real information with a lot of extraneous stuff to fill up the time .
However, I was pleased with the new information about one of my favorite musicians. I enjoyed seeing the cast again and the making of the opera.
