He has tried his best to cover major areas of Indian Music which is too vast for comprehending and it requires a very sincere effort in order to appreciate the various genre and sub genre of this grand music tradition. The book offers a generally accepted view of this great tradition and it is certainly a valuable book for taking the first steps in getting to know the great ambience and sweep of Indian Music
