I tried the whole "memoir writing" once before. But, I wasn't ready to share my story. It turned into something more so for my healing rather than for anyone to be able to decipher a clear message of what living an unexpected life as I have, meant. However, that's okay...because I did heal! Really, that's all we can hope for. To live and learn. To not be stifled by what life brings us. When I tried this the first time, I was stifled. I was stuck. Now, this is not to say that I've finished living and have learned all the lessons life has to offer. It's simply to share with you what I have learned and how I successfully, (at least I hope you think so, because I do) managed to get "unstuck". There's nothing harder than getting unstuck. Trust me. Some people have suffered a lot more than I have and much more auspiciously. There have been others in this world who haven't been through nearly as much, but probably feel the weight of their trials as stingily as I have. That's the point. So, I hope by offering you a glimpse into my world, you can find a commonality that might help when facing your own unexpected life. It's a roller coaster for sure...but a ride I wouldn't trade for anything. Enjoy! Oh, and one more thing...you've got to laugh. A sense of humor is essential!
