With the first ray of morning light, every eye awoke to pleasure, eyery bosom expanded with joy. The rapturous enthusiasm wluch encircled the whole community, gave a character to our national festival, and eloquently told the world, that we were the members of a republic. No nu hallowed doubt, dared to intrude itself on our sacred joy. But have we not heard an orator in a sister state exclaim.
