It is ideal as a quick desk-top reference guide and teaching aid for those working in or setting up a clinic. The majority of the book uses an at-a-glance format in which clinical illustrations are on one page and descriptive text on the opposite page. The book is divided into five major sections that cover the common complications of diabetes, with two other sections and appendices that cover the organisation of diabetes care, good recordkeeping and key drugs and insulin preparations.
