An Atlas for the Clinical Use of the MMPI was first published in 1951. Minnesota Archive Editions uses digital technology to make long-unavailable books once again accessible, and are published unaltered from the original University of Minnesota Press editions.This is a collection of case histories for professional users of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. It is prepared chiefly to present clinical information relative to the interpretation of the form of MMPI profiles and, to a lesser extent, the intensity (elevation) of the profiles. It is assumed that the user of the Atlas will have had experience with the MMPI and will understand the jargon peculiar to it. The authors emphasize that this publication is not a manual on how to administer or score the Inventory, nor is it a compendium of their present clinical practices nor of the experimental standing of the Inventory.
