Lawson examines the global warming issue from all angles and finds the current hysteria wanting. His analysis includes a rational examination of the proposed cures for climate change and some comments on the motivation of the people behind the push for drastic government intervention. His comments are both informative and lively but leave you with the impression of a thoughtful look at the issue.
The only questionable part of the book is his theory that the force behind interventionism is the work of old socialists looking for a convenient cause to create a huge central government. I have a conceptual problem with socialists suddenly turning into facists. I rather think the root cause is similar to the UFO "crisis" that occurred several decades ago when rational people began believing in objects for which there was no factual basis.
Lawson's arguments are worthy of wide dissemination.
