A touching tale!
An Amish Country Reunion by Patricia Johns is a heartwarming romance with a soupcon of mystery. I like the author�s engaging writing style. I enjoyed getting to know Genevieve Austin and Scott Simpson. I thought the characters were developed and relatable. You could feel the emotions emanating from the characters as well as the sparks between them. The mystery of the missing watch was well done. There were some interesting twists and turns along the way to solving the crime. I like that the story mixed English with Amish characters. I was surprised to see one word used in the story (starts with an h and ends with an l). I liked the K9 aspect of the story, and I wish the story had delved a little deeper into it. I thought Benjie was a sweetie. An Amish Country Reunion is a touching tale with a bounding Benjie, new beginnings, a missing timepiece, and a second chance at romance.
