This is a really fun book to read. Examining the great Sci Fi films of the silent era to the 1970s. This is more for funs of the older films since the modern films are not present. There are some heavy sections on Metropolis and A Trip to the Moon. These are great films, which possessed an excellent amount of special effects for the period.
The pictures are great. Every page has a photograph, done in black and white. The films are older, meaning they were black and white to begin with.
There is nothing scary. Children can look through the pages and not be frightened of the monsters. Some look kind of goofy and silly in their pictures.
