This book has special significance to us, as Lynd and Mae were family friends. I have fond memories of watching Lynd work (woodcut illustrations) in his studio up at a remote lake in Ontario, and of listening to Mae's delightful stories about her childhood. I would have checked neither "Yes" nor "No" on recommending to a friend, since we bought it to give to our daughter Amy--an avid Lynd Ward fan who is slowly accumulating a collection of his books. This copy was in absolutely perfect condition (unlike Amy's childhood copy of "The Biggest Bear") and actually contains both of their signatures--a real treasure. My thanks to Alibris for making such books available.
