Despite writing thousands of columns, appearing in dozens of films, and working constantly as a radio commentator, Will Rogers was not recorded often, and the live monologue included in this compilation apparently represents a good portion of his audio legacy. (Given the references he makes and his 1935 death, it must date from the early '30s.)
