This is an over-sized book (a full 161/4 inches tall and 12 1/4 inches wide) containing both an American English interpretation of the Holy Qua-ran and accompanying art work. The illustrations are scenes of American Life--ordinary life, weather, disasters, building, grieving, giving birth, street scenes, picnics, on and on. It may not be for the faint of faith, but it is exceptionally moving and a spiritual experience/aesthetic experience almost beyond compare. The text is hand written which adds another texture to the experience of this book.
