Unable to pinpoint the source of the illness, the local villagers placed the blame on the foreign doctors working in their region, and staged a deadly riot. Meanwhile, as Grace struggles to accept her devastating loss, Peruvian villager Saturnina continues to mourn the recent death of her fiancé, yet another unfortunate victim of the mercury contamination, and unearths irrefutable evidence that the deaths can all be attributed to the abandoned mine.
