I love Mercedes Lackey books anyway. This particular series of hers I actually got started on when I read the Dragon Quintet and Joust was just a short story in it. She expanded this short story into a series and I've devoured three of the four books in the series so far. This particular one was very good, it introduced new characters and continued the story of Vetch/Kiron. Also, this book dropped off of some of the other book clubs and I found it very easily on Alibris at a very reduced price. I certainly don't mind reading used books because I find that it's better to pass it on for someone else to get enjoyment and stop killing trees when we don't need to.
