Alone in Eden is the story of the son of Adam and Eve conceived and born before the Fall and the expulsion from Eden. The novel follows the child as he matures, known in this book as Traveler, through a series of journeys paralleling events in the Bible through the time of the flood. Meetings with his parents, his brothers Cain and Abel and a host of other biblical characters elucidate the theme of the book: what was lost in the Fall and what man could have been without original sin, created perfectly by the hand of God. The novel also offers plausible non-paradoxical explanations for such questions as evolution, the wives of Cain and Abel and the people that ultimately married the children and grandchildren of Noah. It is anticipated that in future volumes, the immortal journey of Traveler through time will be followed further, up to and including contemporary times.
