I was there too
The book is so well written and includes details of each battle that make even the terrain seem familiar, that I feel I was there with General Washington and the soldiers. The emotions of the military leaders, the arguments of the congressmen , - every aspect is well thought out and portrayed and it reads like a good story, only it is true, and actually happened.
