Read it & in 9mo met my hubby. I credit this book!
I read this book after reading domestic violence confidence boosting self help books which helped me separate myself from my daughter's father (abusive, suicidal, drug and alcohol abuser, bipolar, adhd, no job, no intentions of ever working cause of the bipolar excuse, no education could barely spell, just a absolute mess. The relationship unexplainable really, I am ashamed of it and no excuse seems acceptable enough to explain it. I kept going back for many of the reasons explained in this book even after reading all the domestic violence self help books helped me leave him. BUT once I did read this book I never went back & it never so much as crossed my mind. That was January 2007 & In 18 days I will be celebrating my 1 year wedding anniversary to a man I met and started dating in October 2007. He is for the most part EVERYTHING I wanted, need and cared about having. AND there are things that get on my nerves vice-versa but definitely nothing which I would say we can't live with and still be genuine when we say were happy. My hubby is not insecure or jealous which I needed most after a controlling and abusive relationship. I never thought men could exist that didn't get controlling & jealous cause I never dated any & never found any...ah ha it really works cause it did..."Change the Way You Date and Find Lasting Love".
So yes I really do credit this book because of it I really did change the way i dated and found lasting love. I tell everyone I know with "bad luck in love" to get it. I've even purchased a few from Alibris and shipped them to my friends.
