Very easy to read and understand how to make a square foot garden. I would recommend this book to people who are living in a small area.

Very useful
I'm starting to grow vegetables in my garden and I'm looking for techniques for growing with minimal effort and good yields. This book is one of the best in this area, as it teaches a technique that helps to create a garden that does not take a lot of space, is fun and easy to tend and is beautiful. Love it.

WOW!
We are now well into our first season using the square foot gardening method. All my neighbors are sooooo jealous! They have asked one by one what kind of magic we have in our boxes. I LOVE THIS BOOK! Do yourself a favor and find out how easy and successful square foot gardening can be. "Ultimate plants . . . itty bitty garden space."

Great Book on Easy Gardening
If someone has never garden, or they want an easier way to garden - they should get this book! My garden is not to the exact size he recommends but i will be adapting the way I plant and the soil mixture I use after reading this book. It would be a wonderful book if you are working with kids and gardening too.

I liked it!
I wasn't sure if I should get the all-new version, but once I received it and had a chance to go over the contents I'm really glad I got it. While it remains true to the square-foot principle, it has a lot of new information that I will incorporate into my square food garden when I set it up, and also information I will need for my new gardening area (Florida) which I didn't need in my old gardening area (New York). Kudos to Mel! You did it again! Now you have to start up your TV show again.
