Good + in very good jacket. Large octavo, 222pp., illustrated. A good or better copy in the publisher's red cloth, crisp and clean, but marred by some shallow but notable chewing to the board extremities. In the rare dust jacket, with commensurate wear, but no large chips; very good. This copy SIGNED and INSCRIBED by Lanchester on the front free endpaper: "To Col. O. Filley USA Air Service with compliments F. W. Lanchester." Lanchester was a pioneer in automobile and aviation engine design, and his autograph is quite scarce in commerce.
I evidently miss-red the description this is one of those print-on-demand copy things. Binding falls apart and printing looks like the 10th copy of a copy from an antique Xerox machine. Not worthy of a place in my library.
