The album begins with "Summer Storm," a rhapsodic piano piece by Rojo from Nocturnal Afternoon. The lullaby "Bilvana" from A Journey Home by harpist Georgia Kelly and guitarist Dusan Bogdanovic sets a peaceful tone. Guitarist Uwe Kropinski and cellist David Friesen offer the mysterious and intriguing jazz-flavored "Far and Away" from Departure. The Unu Mondo world music ensemble offer "Lakota" from their album Hand in Hand. Here, a synthesizer creates the illusion of a starry sky, while the Lakota flute flies overhead. Guitarist Ben Tavera King offers "100 Year Rain" from Coyote Moon; the piece builds suspensefully, giving the "ageless path" concept a mysterious cast. Violinist Steve Kindler is represented with tracks from two albums. The title cut from Paradise Lost is the essence of wistful longing, while his "Wistari Reef" from Across a Rainbow Sea is a carefree swing through underwater wonders. A languid African flavor is contributed by Barefoot, a sensual vocal/kalima/violin fantasy from the album Serenghetti.
