On After the Eulogy, Boy Sets Fire takes their politically-charged emo punk and adds a catchier song style. At times sounding like vintage Hüsker Dü, many of the songs this time around have a strong focus on the melodic guitar playing of Josh Latshaw. The band still remains deeply rooted in hardcore, and shows off its raging side on the title track.
