Desperate to own the battle helmet Prince Achilles wore at the siege of Troy over 3000 years ago, a private art collector commissions two London art dealers to find it for him. After making extensive inquiries, they approach a team of experienced and well known Italian tombaroli (tomb robbers) to find the tomb where the ashes of Achilles and his friend Prince Patroclus were placed, mingled together, in a single urn. Interpol's Art Fraud division gets wind of the plan and tasks a team of French and Greek detectives to prevent the theft and to identify the collector. Then a second collector enters the fray and keeps watch ready to pounce once the helmet is discovered. The resulting dramatic sea chase around the Greek islands and across the Mediterranean involves treachery and double-cross, murder and romance. The concluding twist will catch you unawares. This mix of high drama at sea, Greek mythology, exotic locations and foreign detectives will leave you wishing you had been there.
