Seller's Description:
New -1 jacket. Book 5 includes documents dating from 1745 to 1805 included in Deed Book B2 (recorded 1794 to 1798) and Deed Book C2 (recorded 1796 to 1805). Deeds listed in the deed books are filed by the dates they were recorded and not by the dates the deeds were actually made. Therefore, many deed books in these abstracts include land that had been sold years and sometimes decades earlier. For example, the deed books in these abstracts include land records recorded from 1794 to 1805. However, the earliest deed recorded in these books was made in 1745. Early land records recorded in Northampton County deed books that involved property exchanges before 1752 identify the land as being in Bucks County because, of course, Northampton County had not yet been careated. When a trasnsaction was made before 1752 but recorded after that year, the record might state that the land was formely in Bucks County or was late of the county but, since the division, now in Northampton County. Everyname index. Soft Cover, 2006, 8.5" x 11", Index, 384 pp.

Seller's Description:
New -1 jacket. Book four in this most helpful series, this one includes documents dating from 1751 to 1802 included in Deed Book H1 (recorded 1791 to 1802) and Deed Book A2 (recorded 1792 to 1798). While most records in the deed books involve deeds and mortgages, there are enough other records to add insight into life in early colonial and state history. Some examples of what one might discover in these early records: Agreement for Care, Bill of Sale, Commission of an Officer, Manumission, Power of Attorney, Pre-nuptial Agreement. Candace takes the time to explain all these documents in her introduction. Appendices explain terms, notes and comments about the abstracts, and persons mentioned in the records who lived outside the county. Everyname index. 2003, 81/2x11, paper, index, 337 pp. Soft Cover.

Seller's Description:
New -1 jacket. Northampton County was formed in 1752, taking land from the northern part of Bucks County, one of the original counties of Pennsylvania. Not only can one discover the location of property owned by an individual but often that individual's occupation, the name of his spouse, occasionally the names of relatives, the names of neighboring land owners, and the history of the land, often back to the original land patent. These records are interesting in the information they give as well as the insight they lend into early American customs and life. A third book in this series, this one includes documents from 1743 to 1802, Deed Book F1 (recorded 1786-1792), and Deed Book G1 (recorded 1789-1802). Reference to F1 and G1 designates the deed book and does not mean these records cover names beginning with those letters only. Every name index. 2002, 81/2X11, paper, Index, 345 pp.
