What a great book describing life and its hardships during the early 1900s. You will not want to put it down until the very last word.

This book is enjoyable from start to finish. As a matter of fact, I didn't want it to end. I could relate to so many of the events that were described with such eloquence and honesty in the book. For anyone wanting to learn about the hard times on farms and in small towns in the '20s and '30s, this book gives a very excellent account.
