This would actually be "good"if it were not biopredation on spine effacing most of gilt lettering on black patch; 959 p., plus publisher's ads; mabled end papers nd edges; not ex-lib., no former owner name but there is a label on front paste down from the Union Book Asociation; paper very fine, only mildly age-toned with only occaisonal foxing; small stains on lower corners of first 33 page; gutters are not cracked but there is crack between p. 480 and p. 481; leather boards moderately scuffed and bumped. With rebinding or skillful repair this would a splendid volume.
