Much important new material generated by Parliament and the courts has been included, and over half the book has been rewritten or newly written, including a new chapter on licences and proprietary estoppel. The basic aim of directness and clarity remains unchanged. This edition should once again be welcomed by students of property law as a lucid guice to a difficult subject, while practitioners will find it useful for everyday reference in a developing branch of the law.
