A Year in Your Life: 1970's, Vol. 1 starts out with Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky" but then goes all over the musical map, from the funky instrumental sounds of Walter Murphy's "A Fifth of Beethoven" to the country flavor of the Marshall Tucker Band's "Heard It in a Love Song."
