The author was then the Professor of Materia Medica and Pharmacy in the University of Pennsylvania; one of the physicians of the Pennsylvania Hospital; one of the authors of the Dispensatory of the United States of America, etc., etc. Volume I covers the entirety of Part I on General Pathology and Therapeutics-Constituent Forms of Disease, Causes of Disease (or etiology), Symptomatology (or semeiology), and General Therapeutics. Also includes Part II on Special Pathology and Therapeutics-General Diseases, Constitutional Diseases, and Local Diseases. CONDITION: Lacks the spine edge, thus leaving both the front and rear boards detached; moderate other exterior wear and soils, front endpapers detached, light age-toning of pages.
