A Timeline of Western Drama is designed for introductory courses in theatre and drama. R. Andrew White is a professor of theatre at Valparaiso University. Professor White earned his M.F.A. in acting at Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre School. He has performed with numerous theatre companies, including the American Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre studio, and the European Repertory Company. In addition, he assisted the producer on the Broadway productions of Jekyll and Hyde , Death of a Salesman , You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown , and Thoroughly Modern Millie . He is the editor of The Routledge Companion to Stanislavsky . Alan D. Ernstein holds an M.F.A. in scene design from Boston University and teaches visual and theatre arts at the high school and college levels. He has worked in all aspects of technical theatre with professional and educational theatre companies across the country.
