(Which is 11, I know. ) With essays by William Gerdts, Sheila Dugan, Ronald G. Pisano, Lauene Buckley, Susan Hobbs, Kathleen M. Burnside, Richard J. Boyle, H. Barbara Weinberg, Carol Lowrey, Lisa N. Peters and Doreen Bolger. Gerdts wrote the main essay "Ten American Painters: A Critical Chronology."
