The writer is indebted for an analysis of many works to Schramm's Analysis Patrum, vol. i.-xviii.; and to Cigheri's Vcterum Patrian T'icologia Universa, vol. i.-xiii. It may suffice, perhaps, to refer to the Bibliotheca Patrum Gallandii, in 14 vols.; to the Bibliotheca Maxima, in 27 vols.; and to the two great works of Fr. Combens--the Qreecorum Patrum Bibliotheca Novum Auetarium and the Auetarium Novissimum. It is unnecessary to add that this Catalogue is so far from being exhaustive that numberless omissions will occur to each reader; and these will vary according to the measure of his own information. To the writer's own mind as he looks over the pages, many occur which escaped him at the moment, and which it is now too late to supply. For example, the Pr lectiones of Perrone; the Systema Theologia of Dobmayer; the Economia Evangelii of Contenson; the Commentarics of Menochius, Escius Fromondus, and Jansenius Gandavensis.
