Externally, generally smart with rubbing to the spine and joints. Light rubbing to the paper covered boards. Tidemarks to the tail of spine and extremities. Ring mark to the front board from a cup. Prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, John Dawson Mayne. Further prior owners' inscriptions to the recto of front endpaper and to title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. A few light spots to the first and last few pages. Otherwise, generally clean throughout aside from the occasional pencil notation. Very Good.
