A Must-Read!!!

This book about a relatively modern Islamic mystic is a must-read for modern peoples. What is amazing about Shaykh Tierno Bokar is just how profoundly he exemplified the *essence* of Islam, an essence that is largely unknown to most modern peoples, an essence that, for many, seems so dramtically divergent from the modern notions of Islam.

In this world, with ample evidence of fundamental, terroristically minded interpretations of religion, it is nourishing to find an example of a humble human who found such a path of peace and service in the religion of Islam. What is stunning is that Shaykh Tierno Bokar came to such a depth of understanding and expression of peace through Islam in a context which was largely characterized by strife and conflict among so many around him. Read this book, written by a humble disciple of Shaykh Tierno Bokar. Be moved by this book and the fragrance of its teachings.

Read...and come to know, better, how to relate with other humans.
