Forster's gently satiric depiction of English country ilfe and manners and his observations on tourists are very satisfying. And the romance is sweet, who hasn't felt like Lucy - confused and afraid to take the leap?

It really is a classic. One of my favorites actually, very well written, a good plot, and an enjoyable read!
