Lyndewode, lib. i. tit. 10. cap. 4. Lyndewode, remarking upon the above words, defects of houses, and other things, says, that is, of which the beneficed person hath the burden and charge of reparation; as of the chancel, inclosures, hedges, ditches and such like.
