Great engrossing read
I am a fan of Penny Vincenzi for the sheer quality of her writing, and her ability to describe a scene so that it feels like you are there.
For those of you who are also avid PV fans, this book may remind you in its subject matter of her earlier novel, Old Sins, which was published in 1989. However this new novel takes a similar concept, expressing a situation in today's marketing parlance, and so is a very fresh read.
My very favorite PV books are the Lytton family trilogy, which I discovered as they were being first published over a period of several years, and I find myself re-reading them often.
