I will learn from this book, because of the accompanying CD.
But I need more visuals of how to strike the strings, etc. and I thought a beginner's book should show or explain it in more detail to help get you started. This one doesn't. But I do love the practice material (the catchy tunes) and the play along CD.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone teaching themselves (like I'm trying to do), otherwise it's a good book.
