First Edition. Hardback. 8vo. pp 30 Original publisher's decorated thin card covers, mostly green with the words 'Floreat Etona'repeated 4 times. A printed note on the verso of the title page states "Printed for the Bazaar by the Princes Christian of Schleswig-Holste in the Guildhall, Windsor, Nov. 24th, 1887." Victoria's Jubilee and the Torc Dance of the Eton boys performed for her, with music and libretto to "Victoria-Our Queen! " (pages 14-18), and the drill of the torch-light manoeuvres with diagrams and a description of the performance by Edmund Warre. Also contains the Eton "Boating Song." Neat name on front endpaper of Etonian J Godfrey Guy dated 1887. Corners chipped, slight wear at edges of coversspine strip mostly absent, used but sound near very good minus copy with clean text. EVB's illustration is mostly the cover, a leaf and a few small illus in text.
