Freedom Through Forgiveness
"A Man Named Dave" is the third in a series by Dave Pelzer. The first two are "A Child Called It" and "The Lost Boy". In this book Dave Pelzer shares his life story from the age of twelve to adulthood and beyond. He shares the events of his life after "being rescued" from his abusive mother. He, through perserverence, is able to join the military and have a career with the Air Force as a mid-air plane refueler. As troubled as his childhood was, Dave was able to move ahead with life and share his story of hope for the future with others. "A Man Named Dave" is a story of the freedom that comes through forgiveness.
