This edition is dedicated to the book designs of the husband-wife team of Russian artists, Rodchenko and Stepanova. Many of their mutual projects were in theatre, cinema, and photography, and they later began work in design, particularly with books, including type-settings, illustrations, and general book design. Also included are photo albums and montages. Documentary materials as well as memoirs of those who knew them are included. Many illustrations are published here for the first time.
