I like Martin Clunes, and I enjoyed the television program that is the basis for this book.
However, the book is very poorly edited, and this detracts from content of the book. Much of the book rambles through long stories about the people he works with on the television program. Better editing would have made the stories more concise but no less interesting to read.
One glaring mistake was the misspelling of the name of the character who is his love interest on his British television program "Doc Martin". It was spelled "Louise" instead of "Louisa". These sorts of mistakes distract me as a reader.
