I don't want to reveal anything as this is the 2nd book of a saga and unfortunately I read it before I have getting the chance to read the first one (Shoddy Prince) I recommend you read Shoddy Prince first before reading this so you have more in depth understanding of things spoken about in this book although it is still a good read even without. Sheelagh Kelly is a great writer and I have read all but four of her books so far. Her characters have alot of depth and you really feel like you know them when you are done. If you like Irish or English late 19th century and early 20th century history, romance, humor, a good cry and to be left with a good feeling this and all her other books are for you.
