Gospel music and horn playing are infused in the stories of the Kofi and Khidar families through slavery, freedom, Juneteenth, lynchings, Civil Rights and achievements, concluding with the Second election of President Barack Obama. This is a collective journey of family discovery and, in context, self-discovery.
