A delightful, uplifting book. What fun to trek the Pacific Coast Trail with such caring and open people. The reader gets a sense of the challenges, pain and thrills encountered on the 2,655 mile trail. It?s as close to the real thing as most of us will get and that is a shame. Development continues to encroach on our wilderness and park areas. Hopefully this book will remind us that these areas are worth keeping.
