Although the sounds may vary between pop-soul and adult contemporary, 1995 Grammy Nominees comes off as simply a fine collection of mainstream pop/rock, most of it fairly popular. Even if some of the songs weren't hits, it's more a reflection on narrowly defined radio formats than quality; the overall musical picture is pretty cohesive here.
