Take Two Records presents a second album dedicated to the music of pianist and bandleader Eddy Duchin (1910-1951). Most of the vocals are by Lew Sherwood, with additional appearances by Jerry Cooper, Buddy Clark and the DeMarco Sisters. During the mid-'30s, many dance bands spiced up their act with rhythms and repertoire gleaned from Latin America; Duchin tapped into this trend with "La Cumparsita" -- one of his very few instrumental recordings from this period -- and "Dust on the Moon," described as a "Rumba Fox Trot."
