Throughout the book, I explain the depth of the short and long-term effects associated with a death of this extent. It is a journey of finding myself without truly having been able to form the emotional bond with the woman who was such a huge part of me. Dealing with and processing this loss didn't come easy to my family and me. However, I have found my way to rationalize the reality; through writing this book.
