The author really understands the difficulties of learning the endgames. 100 of the most common endgames are explained. Each lesson is normally only 1 or 2 pages and has a useful summary and conclusions at the end of each lesson. Common errors are illustrated. The book is well designed, nice clear diagrams and very clearly written. This book is simply the best book on the endgame I've ever seen. Every serious player should own this book.
