Aria is one of the most amazing movies I've seen. Each director is in charge of a different section. The Challenge? No words for the actors; instead, each director had chosen their favorite aria from an opera, and those were the only words on screen. Each "short story" is strong enough to stand by itself, but put together they become a massive piece of reverence to the film as an art form.Like great art, the stories are simple enough to be understood by the least sophisticated (self included) , and yet deep enough to change our view of life. It has been ten years since I last saw this movie, but much of it is still engraved in my heart.
