A selection of works drawn from early Baroque composers, some barely known, but all worthy to some degree of revival, illustrate this point: works by Giovanni Antonio Pandolfi Mealli, Giovanni Paolo Cima, Dario Castello, and Giovanni Battista Fontana appear, among others.
